Took a ride to find a new place to go and after reading the reviews decided to try Double D’s (had nothing to do with the name). It’s about a block off the main road and was nice and tucked away. it is a very small place with a counter to place your order and just a few tables to sit so I wouldn’t recommend trying during busy times, I came as soon as they opened so I was good. The people working were super friendly and helped with suggestions. BBQ is my favorite venue so I was quickly pointed towards and tried the brisket. The brisket was fantastic and portions more than ample. For sides I opted for collard greens and baked beans. Neither disappointed! It also came with cornbread with was sooooo good and moist. Although it is about an hour away, I will be back whenever I’m looking for a nice ride.

Wow. This place is fantastic. Excellent customer service. Friendly. Very clean. Tasty food. Delicious strawberry lemonade. We stopped after visiting Monroeville (Harper Lee and Truman Capote). So glad we found this wonderful place.

What a gem! We came over from Roland Cooper State Park to have lunch and it was well worth the drive! The owners did a fabulous job restoring an old building, and it’s as clean a restaurant as I’ve ever seen. We tried ribs, chicken, pasta salad, fries and baked beans. We enjoyed every bite! Go! You won’t be disappointed!!!

Everything about this place is 10/10. The staff is super friendly, the food is fantastic, the restaurant is immaculate, and everything is reasonably priced. I tried the rib plate with potato salad and collards. The ribs were cooked just right. If you’re passing through Frisco City go give them a try!

I want to start with the service. It was 'southern hospitality' at it's finest. The cashier and the cook were both extremely friendly/polite. The food, especially the ribs, were top notch. When you think of southern BBQ, Double D's Brickhouse BBQ set the standard. The food prices were very reasonable. The interior dining was relaxing and clean. Parking was ample and free. The wait time, even busy, was only a few minutes (less than 5). I highly recommend this BBQ spot!
